Vincent took over the reins of the family domaine in the 1980s, and in 2009 was joined by son Julien following three generations of family footsteps.

They have 16ha of vines ranging from 25-60yo planted on the gently rolling clay-limestone hillsides of Chancay (in a lieu-dit called Bel Air) located between the rivers Brenne and Loire, and offering some of the best terroirs in Vouvray.

The wines are vinified and aged in a prehistoric troglodytic cave, cut into the tuffeau hillside where humidity and temperature (12C all year round) are perfect for vinification and élevage.

Zippy fruit and a nice mineral touch on the nose, it is clean and dry on the palate, with good lift on the finish. It would make a good accompaniment to terrine de poissons.
