Mondeuse from grapes that are not destalked is Savoie’s real speciality (prephylloxera in the 1870’s mondeuse was the only grape planted in Savoie). From 60 year old vines this unoaked wine has a lovely kernel of blackberry fruit, spices, pepper, liquorice. For drinking now to 2011.
