Planted in siliceous clay on the fine rootstock Riparia, Laura sets her organically tended vines to just 30hh. Hand harvested, cuve aged with very low sulphur, this wine has much more depth of fruit, and a better texture than many sauvignon based wines. For drinking now to 2018.

Laura made this wine from a clutch of ancient 60-80 year old vines planted in a siliceous soil overlying yellow clay and flint. A gorgeous, bright mid-gold colour, it is quite floral on the nose (lavender), feels very natural and pure on the palate thanks to the use of low sulphur, has smoky, stony citrus fruits, and its mineral soul intensifies the more you drink. For drinking now to 2018.

    100% Romorantin (12% alc.)

Romorantin is a rare grape and here comes from 60-80 year old vines planted in a siliceous clay soil. Laura gave it a long, patient, two year élevage in cuve using minimal sulphur, with the malos not taking place. It produces a typically straw yellow coloured wine, with a deep, complex nose showing a hint of rhubarb, has very good ripeness and balance on the palate, and is fresh and powerful with lemony notes and a demanding salty finish. Best carafed. For drinking now to 2021.
