A champagne with excellent weight and balance exuding delicate fragrances of flowers and beguiling red berry fruits with a mineral imprint from the calcareous-clay soil. Made from just 1.45 hectares of 35 year old vines, and yields of just 26hh now, it comes from the 2014 vintage, was cuve aged, and disgorged without dosage in April 2016. A very low 17g/l for the secondary fermentation gives a low pressure and gentle mousse which is perfect for the weight of the champagne. For drinking now to 2020.

A touch deeper colour than the Inflorescence, with a beautiful pinot nose. Les Ursules (single grape, single terroir, 1974 vines facing north, single vintage), spends 36 months on its lees before disgorging with no dosage. It has striking clarity, very delicate composed fruit, fine mousse and an extremely long finish. It's the most feminine, harmonious wine of the range according to Cédric and year after year a champagne of the highest class. Only 3600 bts produced. For drinking now to 2020+.

Like the Val Vilaine this wine comes from 35 year old vines on south-west facing slopes with a limestone clay base on the Côte de Béchalin, a lieu-dit in Celles-sur-Ource. Disgorged with zero dosage (like all of Cédric’s champagnes) after six years bottle age in April 2016. There is a great purity to the wine, it’s incredibly fresh, feels very close to the grape, with lovely minty notes, beautifully textured and long with gentle bitters on the finish. Best carafed. For drinking now to 2020.

Cédric has got just 0.11h of chardonnay from five different massale selections planted in 2002 on a gentle southfacing hillside. A very harmonious wine, close to the grape again, nuanced and with delicately poised minerality, which in turn further enlivens the fruit, giving it a coiled, tense presence. Zero dosage. Best carafed. For drinking now to 2021

Cédric’s ceaseless search for ever finer quality here led him to plant just 15 rows of vines on a west facing hillside with ten different massale selections (he planted 3000 vines at high density and one third died, leaving only the strongest to produce). At the harvest some bunches are completely ripe and some not, and so choosing the right moment to pick is complicated. The champagne has an intensely mineral character, is very harmonious with excellent depth and texture, followed by a long finish and lighter bitters than the Béchalin. Very limited quantity. For drinking now to 2021
