128 Meursault AC 2006 Gruyaches
Jean-Philippe FichetGrape:100% Chardonnay (13.5% alc.)
Gruyaches is a very well placed lieu-dit, south of the premier cru Charmes at the foot of the hill. The vines here are 76 years old – Fichet’s oldest parcel – and the style is always rich and opulent but with a good cut. It embodies the style that many would regard as classic Meursault. For drinking now to 2012.
