From vineyards on the banks of the River Garonne, this wine misses out on the Graves appellation by only 200 metres. Soft and fruity with an attractive cedary fragrance.

Average age of 35 years and plant density of 6,650 vines per hectare, trained single guyot. Terroir: Sand and gravel typical of Graves. Elevation of 10-40 metres with a 5% slope and facing south west. Depth of soil 3 metres. Viticulture: De-buds and green harvests. Chemical treatments for oidium and pests. Organic fertiliser. Light ploughing or hoeing of the soil. Machine harvested. Employs a table de trie. Yield of 44 H/H Vinification: De-stalks 100% and crushes. Prefermentive maceration of 3-4 days and then ferment in stainless steel cuves using natural yeast. Uses reverse osmosis to take any water out of fermenting must. Temperature of 25-27°C and 3 remontages per day for the alcoholic ferment which lasts a week. Total cuvaison is 3 weeks. Pneumatique press and press wine kept separately. Cellars warmed to 20°C to stimulate the malo. Sometimes uses micro-oxygenation. Elevage in cuve and fûts(2 and up to 3yr old). Rack twice a year. Fines with egg white. Bottles 4 times a year.
