    Grape:80% Marsanne, 20% Roussanne (13% alc.)

    This comes from 40 year old vines in a limestone soil and is 50% cuve and 50% oak aged. Peachy with a hint of acacia, it has a lovely purity. For drinking now to 2015+.

    11 hectares including 2½ hectares of St Péray. Produces 6,500 bts St Péray. 
    Grape: Marsanne 80%, Roussanne 20%. Age of vines 30 yrs average. Massale & clonale. 3309 rootstock. 5-6000 vines per hectare.  
    Terroir: A mix of argilo-calcaire and granitic soils on a granitic sub-rock. Mid-slope (but not as steep as Mauves) in the quartier of Puteurs. Lime at top – 30% slope. 
    Viticulture: Yield – 40 hectos. Hand-harvest  
    Vinification: Tank 50%, oak 50% - (fûts 30% demi-muids 70%, both 3-4 yrs old on average). Batonnage if necessary. June bottling.
