    Grape:60% Mourvèdre, 20% Cinsault, 20% Grenache (13.5% alc.)

    Unfined and unfiltered, this has a deep healthy colour, good ripe fruit on the nose with hints of leather and spice. Mid-weight on the palate with savoury, tobaccoey tannins and a good finish. For drinking now to 2015.

    Grape: 60% Mourvèdre, 20% Cinsault, 20% Grenache 
    Terroir: Sand, salt, limestone and clay. Lower slopes. 
    Viticulture: Gobelet formation. Plough 5/6 times a year. Vendanges en verts. Hand harvest 36hl/hectare. Harvest end of September. Organic (animal) fertiliser added once a year after harvest. 
    Vinification: Usually destalk but in good vintages leave 20%-25% of stalks. Table de trie; grapes lifted to avoid pumping grapes into top of vats. Cuve fermented. Remontage twice a day (with open top at beginning and middle but not end). Delestage sometimes at end; 15-20 days cuvaision. Pneumatic press. Assembled and transferred to foudres where malos take place; 5-6 rackings during elevage. Bottled after minimum 18 months in foudre (end June) without fining or filtration. Air conditioned winery and storage.
