    Grape:80% Gros Manseng, 20% Camaralet (13.5% alc.)

    Aromas of citrus fruits draw you in, there is a burst of fruit – ripe grapefruit and passion fruit, a nice balance of acidity and minerality from the gritty marl, then a long finish. For drinking now to 2012.

    Winemaker: Jean-Louis Lacoste (a qualified oenologist, who worked as a consultant in Pessac Leognan for 10 yrs) 
    Location: Monein, 15km west of Pau

    Grape: 80% Gros Manseng, 20% Camaralet/Lauzet which give aromatic complexity, hints of spices, pear and white flowers – 20 yr-old vines 
    Terroir: Gritty, silty, yellowy clays. 
    Viticulture: 50-55 hectos. Hand harvest.  
    Vinification: Cold stabilised at 10ºC for 7-10 days before alcoholic fermentation starts. No systematic maceration pelliculaire; grapes pressed (in horizontal press) and vinified at between 17-20ºC. Left on fine lees and bottled in June.
